NIST selects Enterprise Health to document and manage employee health

Solution will satisfy wide range of agency's occupational and employee health needs

Fort Wayne, Ind., June 8, 2021 — The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has selected Enterprise Health as its occupational and employee health IT solution. Enterprise Health will be used to manage the occupational and employee health of NIST’s 3,400 scientists, engineers, technicians and support and administrative personnel who work in the agency’s two main locations in Gaithersburg, Maryland and Boulder, Colorado.

Enterprise Health combines occupational health and compliance, primary care and employee engagement on a single, interoperable, cloud-based certified EHR platform. NIST, one of the nation's oldest physical science laboratories and part of the U.S. Department of Commerce, will use the solution to streamline the management and documentation of pre-placement exams, health surveillance exams, workplace injuries and illnesses, acute care, immunizations and completion of OSHA compliance documentation and reporting.

“We are proud to be working with NIST in support of their efforts to maintain a present, productive and healthy workforce,” said Jeff Donnell, president of Enterprise Health. “Our solution satisfies the occupational health and clinical care initiatives that are becoming standard practice for organizations looking to build a culture of health.”

Implementation of the Enterprise Health solution is under way.
