Fort Wayne, Ind., October 28, 2021 — Enterprise Health continues to push its rapid growth trajectory with the addition of Mark VerMeulen to its sales team. As senior sales director of healthcare, VerMeulen will develop and execute strategies to increase sales of the Enterprise Health occupational and employee health IT solution to hospitals and health systems in the East region.

“Occupational health professionals within hospitals and health systems realize they need a software solution with specific occupational health functionality to properly manage the health of their employees, which is exactly what differentiates Enterprise Health from other solutions and EHRs,” said Jeff Donnell, president of Enterprise Health. “With more than 25 years of experience selling safety, employee health and occupational medicine software solutions to customers in the healthcare, industrial and service sectors, Mark will help make those connections and help us continue our growth in this market segment.”

VerMeulen holds a bachelor of science degree in geology from Ohio State University and a master of science in geophysics from Wright State University. He began his career as a geophysical analyst before pivoting to create PerDatum, Inc. and Prognos, a software solution designed to assist large employers and service providers in managing safety, workers' compensation and disability programs.

In 2006, PerDatum was acquired by UL PureSafety, where VerMeulen then served as national sales manager for Prognos for three years. He then transitioned to senior enterprise sales executive for UL Healthcare Solutions and focused on the sales of the PureOHS/OHM SaaS solution for managing employee health and safety programs and SYSTOC electronic medical record (EMR) solution for the clinical and financial management of occupational medicine clinics.

VerMeulen works out of Columbus, Ohio where he lives.
